Clearview Tea returns to its roots in Creemore, joining the 100 Mile Store and Soggy Puffin family of companies.
Creemore, ON – Clearview Tea, a premium loose leaf tea company known for its dedication to quality and its local roots, is proud to announce the acquisition of all tea and brand assets by The Soggy Puffin, the parent company of the 100 Mile Store in Creemore. This exciting development brings Clearview Tea back to its hometown, where the journey began over a decade ago at the Creemore Farmers Market.
Founded by mother-daughter team Rebecca and Maggie, Clearview Tea quickly grew from a small market stall to a brand cherished by local cafés, retailers, and online customers across Ontario. After 12 years of sharing their passion for tea, Rebecca and Maggie are "passing the teapot" to new hands.
"We are thrilled that Clearview Tea will continue to flourish under Linda’s leadership at the 100 Mile Store," said Rebecca and Maggie. "There couldn’t be a better place for our tea than back in Creemore, where it all started. The 100 Mile Store was one of our first customers, and we’re confident that they will carry on our tradition of excellence."
The Soggy Puffin, best known for sustainable non-toxic and plastic-free glass drinking bottles, and as the owner of the beloved 100 Mile Store, is excited to integrate Clearview Tea into their family of brands. The 100 Mile Store has been a cornerstone of Creemore’s community, offering locally sourced goods that reflect the best of the region.
"We’ve always admired Clearview Tea’s dedication to quality and community," said Linda, owner of the 100 Mile Store. "We’re honoured to bring Clearview Tea home and look forward to continuing its legacy, ensuring that it remains a staple for tea lovers both locally and beyond."
Clearview Tea will continue to be available at the 100 Mile Store and through its existing website, ensuring that the same high-quality blends that customers have come to love will remain available.
