We feel helpless and heartbroken when we see the ongoing devastation in Australia and wish we could go there and save every beast that is trapped, injured or orphaned by the flames.
Since that is neither practical nor realistic, we thought we would try and help raise money for the cause from here.
We are thrilled to have the help of two truly wonderful ladies:
Jacqueline Long of the Teeny Tiny Bakery has generously donated her gorgeous, handmade koala and heart cookie sets
Carla de Winter has donated truly adorable koala greeting cards
Please, if you can, donate to the NSW WILDLIFE INFORMATION AND RESCUE
When you donate through facebook, here:
you can come to us at the Creemore 100 Mile Store, 176 Mill Street, Creemore, Ontario and pick up your free card and cookies (while supplies last).
Australia needs all the help they can get.
Thank you for your support.
Happy New Year!
We would like to take a minute to wish all the friends of the Creemore 100 Mile Store a wonderful, exciting and healthy brand new year. We hope your 2020 is filled with laughter, beautiful new memories and adventure.
2019 was a whirlwind year for the store and our team.
We (Christian and Linda) fell in love with Creemore and the Store, the moment we saw it, on December 31, 2018.
In April, 2019, we were thrilled, honored and a little freaked out to take on the challenge of trying to fill the boots of the incredible food mavens Jackie and Sandra.
It has been quite the ride.
We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to our friends and family for their love, support and „you-got-this“.
Mom & Dad we couldn’t have done it without you.
Thank you Michelle and Gillian from the Centre for Business and Economic Development in Collingwood for all your guidance and incredible, professional support.
Thank you to the wonderful community of Creemore for being so welcoming, supportive and patient with these two weirdos from abroad.
Thank you, thank you, thank you to our manager, Neal, for your tireless and never-ending willingness and dedication to make things work. You have been an incredible problem-solver, turkey juggler and tetris-puzzler, all this on top of the impressive responsibility of becoming the father of the gorgeous little Ray (the 100 Mile baby ❤️). A huge shout out to your family for lending you out to us so very much.
Thank you Daniela, Lydia and our tiny but mighty 100 Mile Team for being so awesome and reliable. We appreciate the heck out of each and every one of you!
Thank you Sandra and Jackie for all your help and support and for entrusting this incredible store that you built together to us.
We couldn’t be happier.
Happy new year everyone!!
